Akemi Business School Library/ Knowledge Resource Centre is most lively place in the Institute that enables learning & advancement of knowledge. It has methodically developed the collection of books and journals right from its inception. It is rich in collection, which consists of Text books, Reference books, Journals, Magazines, General books, Books for competitive exam, educational DVDs and CDs, etc. NPTEL video Lectures delivered by India’s best teachers are also available in Library. It also subscribes e-journals packages of Management disciplines of well international publishers to enhance & promote research activity. The library operations are automated.

The LMS available has modules of Acquisition, Catalogue, Circulation, OPAC, Serial Control, Administration with major features and functions as under:

  • Supports multi-platform for bibliographic database such as MS-SQL or any other RDBMS.

  • Highly versatile and user-friendly OPAC with simple and advanced search.

  • Provides facility to send reports through e-mail, allows users to save the reports in various formats such as PDF, Excel, WORD etc.

  • Available at an affordable cost with strong institutional support.

The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) enables library users to search the books database by Title, Author and Publication, etc. Library follows the arrangement and classification of books using Dewey decimal classification system.
